Candle Making Event Waiver

Welcome! We’re excited to have you join a candle-making experience with Chix and Wix, LLC. Our goal is for everyone to have a fun and safe time. Please read and sign below before participating.
I understand that I am voluntarily participating in a candle-making event hosted by Chix and Wix, LLC, which may take place at a brewery, winery, private residence, or other third-party venue.
I understand that candle making involves working with warm wax, fragrance oils, tools, and containers, and that these activities involve some natural risks.
What I Agree To
- I confirm that I am 21 years of age or older.
- My participation is voluntary.
- I understand that risks may include minor burns, spills, slips, or skin sensitivities.
- I agree to follow all safety instructions provided by Chix and Wix staff.
Alcohol Awareness
- I understand that alcohol may be present at some events.
- Chix and Wix, LLC does not sell, serve, or provide alcohol.
- If I choose to consume alcohol, I do so responsibly and accept responsibility for my actions.
About Your Candle
Each candle made during this event is a handmade, individual creation, and results may vary.
Chix and Wix, LLC is not responsible for the final quality or performance of the candle, including scent strength, burn quality, appearance, or results from custom fragrance blending.
Personal Responsibility & Release
- I am responsible for my own health, safety, and personal belongings.
- Chix and Wix, LLC does not provide medical care or insurance.
- I release and hold harmless Chix and Wix, LLC, the event venue, and their owners, employees, and representatives from any claims or liabilities related to my participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
